From January to February 2018, Ningxia Ziguang Tianhua methionine Co., Ltd. carried out accounting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions within the company's plant boundary in 2017. With the strong support of the company's leaders, the safety and environmental protection department carefully prepared and fully cooperated, finally successfully completed the verification, and the third-party verification organization issued a verification statement on the greenhouse gas emission of "Ningxia methionine".

 

The verification report states that the "Ningxia methionine" greenhouse gas emission report in 2017 meets the requirements of relevant standards, the accounting boundary and emission source identification are complete, and the activity level data and emission factors are selected correctly. In 2017, the total greenhouse gas emissions of enterprises were 656846tco2, including 131325 tCO2 from fuel combustion, 282995 tCO2 from net purchased electricity and 242526tco2 from net purchased heat. The emissions were reasonable without abnormal fluctuations.

 

According to the verification results, the third-party verification organization puts forward suggestions for the next step of our company's greenhouse gas emission accounting and verification. The company will improve the greenhouse gas emission according to the verification conclusions and suggestions, so as to lay a solid foundation for the follow-up company to participate in the national carbon emission trading.
